A Future for Small States: Overcoming Vulnerability
Synopsis
This report analyses the key issues concerning small states’ security and development. It sets out a series of recommendations to counteract vulnerability arising from factors such as globalisation, environmental degradation and global warming, and international crime. It discusses economic, environmental and political dimensions, as well as recognising the importance of regional organisations and international conventions in enhancing small states’ security.
